How to Audit Website SEO like a Pro
Before you start trying to improve your SEO.
You need to audit your website & understand how your current website SEO is performing.
In this tutorial, I teach you a three stage technique, to thoroughly audit & understand how your website SEO is performing.
Step 1. Technical Audit
Technical SEO is essentially analysing the nuts & bolts of your website.
This means looking at physical elements like:
Page titles & descriptions
Page size & load speed
Image & media specs
Getting these technical elements right is important, because these are the fundamentals of your website.

The report will automatically save or you can print it out.
Step 2. Complete Webpages Analysis
Now you’ve complete a technical SEO audit, we need to look at all your webpages on your website.
Because making sure all your pages are titled & setup correctly goes a long way to making sure you have excellent SEO.
The way we do this is by searching this in Google.
site: [insert domain on your website]
This will output all your webpages that Google has indexed, so we can make sure all the pages are appearing correctly in Google.
Step 3. Google’s Perspective
Now the third & final audit we will be doing is looking at our website from Google’s perspective.
To do this, we will being using Google Search Console.
This is a platform by Google, that helps you understand how their bots are crawling and analysing your website.
This gives us valuable information about each page on your website.
