Steps to Building an Augmented Reality Ad
In this tutorial I show you how to use Spark AR Hub & Facebook Ads Manager to create an augmented reality ad.
This is a really complicated tutorial, there a quite a few moving parts. So I recommend watching my Youtube video for the best explanation.
But I will also do my best to write up a tutorial underneath.
1. Create a Facebook Ad
Start setting up a Facebook Ad inside of Ads Manager like usual, but when you get to designing your ad - we will link our augmented reality ad.
2. Link your AR Experience
Now instead of designing a normal ad, we will link our AR ad that you created inside of Spark AR.
If you haven’t built an augmented reality in Spark AR Studio, then you will need to do that first.
3. Create an Augmented Reality Filter (if you haven’t already)
I’m not going to in-depth on how use to Spark AR to create an augmented reality filter, because it’s above my pay grade.
But just know, you will need to create one, in order to link it to your Facebook Ad.
4. Publish your Facebook Ad
The final step is to finish off your Facebook Ad like usual, then you will be able to publish the augmented reality ad.
