The main feature of Telegram is Channels, they are places where organisations can broadcast messages to people in group chats.

How to Create a Telegram Channel

Creating a Telegram Channel can be empowering for many reasons. It can help grow your business, or help you communicate more effectively.

1. Login to Telegram

Using your phone or your desktop computer, you want to start by logging into your Telegram personal account.

Sign up and create an account if you don’t already have one.

2. Create a New Channel

Give your channel a reliable name, fill out the description & upload a high quality profile picture.

This is important to give your channel credibility & make sure it looks like a legitimate channel.

3. Select your Channel Type

Make sure your channel type is set to public, this means people will be able to find your channel.

4. Choose your URL

You want select a URL, which is easy to write & is related to the topic of your Telegram channel.

So you’ve successfully launched your new Telegram Channel - now how do you grow it?

1. Share with the Community

Submit your Telegram channel to an online community, so people can find you.

There are several online communities, where you can promote your Telegram channel for free.

The biggest and most popular is Telegram Channels.

You can publish your Telegram channel here, so people can find it.

2. Actively post on your Channel

If you’re not actively posting content & engaging with your channel, why should anyone join?

Post at least once a day, so people stay engaged and you can build a community.

3. Advertise on Telegram Channels

If you want to be sneaky, you can advertise on other people’s successful channels to steal their users.

This works really well just to get your first few subscribers to your channel.
