How to Change your Name on Facebook

Hello guys, in this tutorial I show you how to change or adjust your name on Facebook.

I completed this tutorial on my desktop device, but you can complete this on mobile devices - it is exactly the same steps.

Why Change your Facebook Name?

There are several reasons to change your name on Facebook.

I think privacy is the number one reason anyone should change their name on Facebook. But if you recently got married, or legally changed your name - there are of plenty of other reasons to do it.

Steps to Change your Name on Facebook

This is a really simple tutorial, that anyone can do.

1. Go to your Settings

Head to your Facebook Settings, it’s looks like a little gear cog.

2. Make sure you’re in the General tab

If you’re in the general area, you should see a section which enables you to edit your name.

You should be able to see an option to edit your name

3. Change your Facebook Name

Inside of this area, you will be able to adjust your Facebook name.

Keep in mind you can only edit this every 60 days.

So if you make a mistake, you will have to wait 60 days before you can edit it again.

From here you can edit your Facebook name
